The groundhog may have said six more weeks of Winter but we are ready for Spring!
It’s time to let go of our winter blues and let March bring on the sunshine and fun! What have we been up to? We’ve been busy! Trixies is bustling with events, planning, and getting our guests’ hair ready for Spring!
The Trixies teamstarted out March with an education trip to Sioux City for some amazing tips fromBob Phibbs, the Retail Doctor. We pride ourselves on our customer service and are always looking for ways to improve the Trixies experience for our guests. His presentation was so motivating and will help Trixies be even better at serving our guests: from the service we provide to the education for care of hair at home!
Next up: Daylight Savings. Nothing like losing an hour to get us closer to Summer and sunny weather! We didn’t let that loss of sleep distract us from St. Patrick’sDay. That tiredness pairs well with a day of drinking and celebrating at theFriendly Sons of St. Patrick parade; which is where Trixies Salon and friends represented for the 8th year withfabulous hair, the Trixies “float,” and plenty of beads and candy! Did you show off your St. Pats spirit or see us in the parade?
Will we be closing out March with a good ol’ trip toKansas City Fashion week! Tricia, Haley, Hannah, and I will be working alongsideXiphium Aveda Salon of Kansas City. We will be once again working with models and designers to create signature looks to strut down the runway! Keep a close eye on theTrixies Salon Instagramthe last weekend of March for lots of pictures and video of runway fashion and beauty!
Between all of the traveling and partying, we are also gearing ourselves up for Earth Month. Always one of the most exciting times of year for the Aveda network and Trixies! This year we will be hosting a dogtastic event at Raccoon River Park to raise money and satiate our need for playing with puppies!
OnApril 29thplease come and join us forPuppies and Pancakesto raise money for Earth Month! We can’t wait to see you and meet all of your fur babies!
