If you are anything like us Trixie's Girls, your Halloween "costume" centers around what your plans are for your makeup!! We enlisted a little help from the very talented Ivy Boyd of Wakeup for Makeup to share some fun, creative ideas for this Halloween! xoxo
Hi Trixie’s Community! It’s me, Ivy! I’m a freelance makeup artist and beauty blogger here in Des Moines and have the pleasure of partnering with Trixie’s from time to time. I do a ton of bridal makeup but I love special effects/avant garde, too. So naturally, Halloween is like makeup artist kryptonite for me. I get to be so many different people, all with the power of makeup. I love creating looks with makeup I already own, getting inventive and finding unique ways to use products like cream shadows, gel liners and eyeshadows. I really believe you can do a ton of transformation with what is already in your makeup bag!
Hopefully you caught Trixie’s and I on KCWI Great Day showing two super easy Halloween looks. If you missed it, you can always catch it online!
Here are some of the previous favorite looks I created, all with the help of lots and lots of makeup!
Picture below, from top, clockwise: True Blood Vampire, Barbie, Plastic Surgery Addict, Galaxy Girl, Pop Art Comic Book Girl, Fembot
What I love about these looks is that all you need is makeup and lashes! Let your face be the star this Halloween!
